Wed. afternoon Sept. 4. Dear Jennie, Anna Hattie and I have just come in from a pleasant walk. Anna is resting her and as it is almost supper time she will not be likely to write much more in this letter as we wish to send it to the office tonight. We are enjoying our visit here very much and I believe the rest are to, at least they seem to. How do the Good Templars get along? do you go down as often as you used to? supposing you write and tell your "worthy" sister something about it. - On coming back from our walk today we called at the post office but did not get any letter from home as we expected. The truth is, I believe we expect too much of you, of course you are all very busy and it is hard to get time to write often to us. Mary has been very faithful so far, and we are thankful for it, it does us so much good to hear from you. Accept much love from us all. - Sarah.
