Saturday July 17, 1880 Today was hot and sultry - not a bit of air stirring? on the Lake - We went up about 5 miles further and cross over to the East side and camp
Sunday July 18 1880 We returned down towards the main body of the Lake and turned the bow of our boat up the Cor de lane River, another arm of the Lake of similar character extending off more easterly - We camped in a cave on the south side and were pestered by the moskitoes all night and the only consolation we had was we had a good camp ground and plenty of game and fish
Monday July 19 1880 Went up the Cor-de-lane arm of the Lake about 4 miles
