other dear ones that have gone are safe in our Fathers house in the blissful presence of Him that died that we might live I hope the dear little Wilder will soon have his teeth through & be well I should think that change of air and more yet change of scene would benefit your health - James is here yet is very steady and attentive to his business he has not been home since last April The little boys have improved in their behavior I think. Charlie has rais'd by his own labor 2 bushels of potatoes about one bushel of Beans & some carrots &c. He prepares to devote a part of his revenue to benevolent purposes is going to buy some litt e Backs (?) for distribution & feels the importance of his transactions considerably he gives Joseph a share of his profits tho' he says he so lazy that he did nt help him hoe but little Josie is a smart strong boy to work when he has a mind to - Albina's health seems quite as good as it was last summer notwithstanding she is 3 months along She has done all her housework except that Mrs Calors (?) help'd her work a few weeks in the summer
