about the hall talking about Clarks case, they all say the case is a scheme of the company's and they don't believe Clark or Milley will never be prosecuted. Milley made his appearance and spoke about this being bound over when the justice should have discharged him. He entered the Hall and Opr. stood around the vicinity until 8.30pm ? Stranburg & Wardrope visited saloons on Prairie St. and the square. They met a great number of strikers who claim they never saw a more tame case than that against Clark, Milley & Bauersien. They returned to the Clifton House at 10.00pm where they met J. Boyd, J. Hinkson, & J. Turner. Opr. sat around the Hotel until 12.30am when he retired with Stranburg.
