Sunday Nov 23d 1879 Stayed in Portland, Foggy Monday Nov 24~ 1879 Went to Salem on Mail train, on business with Judges & unclear - Went to Albany on the Evening Express train where I arrived at 8.30 Tuesday Nov 25 1879 Took train south and arrived at Junction at 1.30 PM. stayed until Saturday Nov 29~ 1879 Took train for Roseburg where I arrived at 7 oclock P.M - Metropolitan Hotel Room no 22 Remained at Roseburg until Tuesday January 13~ 1880 Set out on the train for Albany Oregon to attend Circuit Court as a witness for Mrs Agnes E Danielson in a Divorce suit in which her husband Thomas Daniels is plaintiff and her defendant -- Took breakfast at Oakland - Dinner at Junction and arrived at Albany at 12-30 P.M and stopped at the St Charles Hotel.
