Owing ^to the storm, Jennie's letter written right before last has not yet been sent, so I will write a little to go with it -- hoping we may send it today. It is clear and seasonal this morning -- after two very snowy stormy days -- and the roads are filled. J has some thoughts of going on snow shoes this morning. G? has the asthma, and does not know as he will go. We learn by the papers there has been much rain in N.Y. and a flood -- we are anxious to know how much it has affected you. I shall hope to hear from you today or tomorrow. Has it been anything very unusual? We have not seen its account -- only heard Mr. P. speak of it last night -- we do not like to ask to borrow their paper till they are through reading it. Do you sleep pretty
