Saturday July 30th More poor feed and bad water, the journey is getting monotonous and I wish it was over. traveled 20 miles

Sunday July 31st the River unclear is warm and nasty. Camped at a ford in the River. traveled 15 miles

Monday Aug 1st Captain Griffith and Evan Crane from Ottumwa Iowa have crossed the River and will either go over the mountains on the Truckie or the Honey Lake Route. Camped on the River traveled 20 miles
