While I was writing the last sentence I heard the ordely call my name, on going to him I found a letter there for me from Lucy, it had gone to the 77th Reg. first, the figures were not very plain. She complains of not getting any letters from either you or I. She has not rec. the two last ones that I wrote. Also I have missed one of hers. Our teams have not yet arrived, so that there is no prospect of moving to day. You will have to excuse me for not writing as long a letter as you did for I am sleepy, as I did not sleep any last night. Jonny Burns, Capt. Achenbach's drummer boy is going to start for Alton on a furlough this afternoon. If he will take this, shall send it by him.
