What he does now on Earth is only to convince his disciples that he is the very same Jesus as before, that death had not dissolved his friendship, and that he had lost none of his humanity. Forty days he takes to do this, meanwhile he eats, he drinks, he walks and talks with them, doubting Thomas becomes believing when at last he breaks the Seal of resurrection authority and gives to his disciples the great commission. "All power is given to me in heaven and in earth, go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptising them unto the name of the Father, and the Son, & of the Holy Spirit, and lo, I am with you always, even unto the End of the world. And from the formation of that Spiritual power then unsealed in Jerusalem streams of Salvation shall flow to the End of time.
