Tuesday August 9 -

Mr & Mrs Buck gone  A very warm day - I did not accomplish much - tended baby & read a little. Mr Smith and I had quite a sing in A.M. -  Isaac & I with baby went riding in P.M. and on the line - had a fine shower but short and umbrela scribbles kept it off. Iron weed in its glory now - very like Canada Thistle.

Wednesday August 10 -

At the office in the A.M. reading  R?..ctnam? - Called at Mrs Roots after tea with Mrs Keyes & Nellis
