During these ceremonies the priest & his right hand man occupied the middle white seat, lowering a cane mat to set theirs put on while the seven counsellors and the speaker of the priest occupied the two others on the right & left. These seats were always in the west side of the house, the door being in the East side, they always sat with their faces towards the East.
