Ann and Lucy say that those who (few in number) are acquainted with Joseph esteem him very highly indeed. It seems to me I shall be more lonely than ever now when Lucy goes back. I guess Mother don't know about "copartnership" I am sure I don't yet. Nevertheless I shall feel it my duty to take myself away from being a burden on ((unclear)) whenever I have a good opportunity; but have not yet determined whether this is a good offer.
