Artemesia Geyser. A little farther on a stop is made to view the lovely Morning Glory where, as Chittenden says, the quiescent pool is seen at its best. Just beyond the Morning Glory are the Fan and Mortar Geysers, while the Riverside is seen at the crossing of the Firehole. Next in order and just before turning into camp the remarkable craters of the Grotto and Giant are passed. Our new camp here is nicely situated in a beautiful grove of young pines, and is near to the Splendid, Daisy, Riverside, Grotto and Giant geysers. From our Observation Knoll at this camp one has the finest view obtainable of the Gayser Basin.
