Osawatomie Dec. 14 1885 Dear Sisters I received a letter from Mary last time I was in town and one from Jennie about two weeks earlier. I was very glad to hear from you both, I must either make this letter very short, or not write at all. We had a very heavy wind Dec 4. (Friday) It blowed down hay stacks for me, and some of the hay was blown away entirely, and blowed off corn leaves from stalk pasture (This is where cattle are pastured on corn stalks standing uncut in the field after the corn has been gathered.) farther than that such losses, it did not damage this neighborhood. I will answer your questions (both of you) about my eyes. I have no pain in my right eye. I think there is no difference
