30 young ladies under her charge. I believe they are quite well pleased with her. They have monthly receptions and the young ladies are permitted to invite all of their friends and are very pleasant I hear. their rules are very strict for the young ladies are not allowed to go out or receive company any evening except Friday. I do not call at the Seminary quite as often as I did last winter for I have not as man friends there now. Mrs. Sheppard is the music teacher in the Seminary.
