1866. Monday, September 10. Rained last night & rains today. Cleared off in the evening. Show in town but a bad day for it & ? excitement? - Been busy in the office writing letters & c. Have not made much money for today & yet have worked hard. Genl Cleifman ? left a lot of old worthless notes & gives us the half for collecting. Holden & I played cards awhile in the office
