Utica Nw 22, 1881 - My dear cousins Your letter was received yesterday. We had been quite anxious to hear how you were, am glad the bad weather we have been having has not been more trying to Aunt Sarah. Mama and I went down town? yesterday morning and so we inquired about beds. At one place on Fayette Street we found some pretty ones, at the other stores they had nothing that would do. They said your bed would take what they called a full sized bed, but they had none very pretty. They said spring beds called The United States could be cut to fit a single bed.
