was the Woman's Building in the gallery of which we saw some fine thread laces some valuable old fans &c all in cases- We then went to the Library where we had an appointment to meet Dr. Gale? of Rutland why disapointed us- In this room is a bust of Mrs Harriet Beecher Stowe- After waiting an hour we left for home and on reaching Monroe St found the cable broken again and we waited a half hour in the street- Reached home at 8. P.M much fatigued-
