103 Friday the 10th I walked on the Monte Pincio with Mrs Seyb & the girls my Aunt came out after a short time & we drove into the Borghese Villa had a very time & then home; we were invited to Mrs Conolly's & to Mrs DuPree's but went to neither place My brother went to the latter-- Saturday the 11th Had french lesson & in the afternoon brother Robert & I walked in the Villa Borghese met the Conolly's driving & Miss Littledale & walking Count Sante who bowed very politely but Mr Gemming the german turned his hed & looked not towards us-- in the evening Lymon Armeline & after to Lady Grants for a short time where we met the Somervilles the Lockhearts, Lord & Lady Morley, the Percys & Miss Warren
