We do not feel just right - if we do not hear often a little from each of you. We let our debts fall on Anna & think they are paid when she writes. I want to have a word with Mary about the family business. We could not do any thing much in that line without a good deal of outlay to start. We would have to build a larger hen house and a warmer one if we expected the hens to lay such cold winters as this. Last winter it was warmer & they laid most all winter. This year we got the first egg March 13. Perhaps some time we can do something in that way or as you suggest with something else lighter than common farming, but I don't see as we can this year.
