when we steamed out at 7. After 2 hours time we came into Santiago Bay. Saw Old Morro Castle punctured by the shells from the Navy. Saw the Maria Theresa sunk on the shore and not far from her inward lay our Merrimac, but she was sunk in such a position that it did not blockade the bay at all.
