Your fav of 24th ult just rec'd the seven dollars & fifty cents enclosed in same we have placed to your credit and now send by Adam Express a sample copy of the Atlas. 

We have given you above a certificate for the Agency in several counties, and shall expect you to canvass thoroughly such places as you attempt, not show? over the ground merely --

 When you get this let us know the places you have labored in.
