I am not pleased with unclear The unclear. or the Ammunition furnished the Regt. I think we should have been supplied with The Spencer Rifles of the latest pattern + recd the "Cut off." We have instead Carbines that have been in use. + that have been repaired they are unclearpatent 1860.+ do not have the "Cut off.." Col. 52/100 per invoice. the Ammunition. is wrthless as it cannot be unclear from this unclear Col. 50/100 + 56./100. I hope?
