1866. Sunday, April 8. Cool but moderately pleasant. Took my usual wash in the morning. Then went to unclear House to church—heard Rev. Shearer preach upon the attributes of God—His Goodness. At night went to M E Church heard the presiding elder. In the morning went out to my lot East of town & looked at the lot owned by McMillen out there adjoining.
