Sunday, April 8. 1866.

Cool but moderately pleasant. took my usual wash in the morning. Then went to unclear to church. heard Rev. Shearer preach upon the attributes of God - His Goodness. At night went to M E Church heard the presiding elder. In the evening went out to my lot East of town & looked at the lot owned by McMillen out there adjoining.
