It has looked all day like rain, but it has not, all of us well, at eight O. clock we all went to the Spring and drank iron water, Hunt included, then we returned to breakfast. after breakfast sat at the door, my Sisters families all well, Mr Angell very blue to day, and is quite unnerved, after dinner the children all went to hear the music and to see the learned Pig, who is quite a curiosity, then David Siss Ada and myself all went to drive to the spouting and Geyser spring which is a beautiful spot, we then drove through the town which is beautiful, to our surprise when we got home Dr Thoms sat at our front door, he has travelled after us for month, he is in love with Siss. he is going to stay here awhile. after ten we all went walking I had a letter from Dr Hulcee? at Cape Cod. I am going back to Chicago in a few days with Mr Angell. I had a letter from Mr Badger, he says the babies are not well,
