Monday July 26th 1875 This has been a beautiful day, all was well and went to breakfast, after breakfast Mr Angell drove me to Belle,s Cottage and Mattie Faulds went also. John and Mr Fitch gone to Boston to see Dr unclear about his foot. Belle has decided not to go with us to unclear, but will remain as the unclear with her nurses Mr Fitch and Maggie, I spent the morning with her and then she went up to the Hotel with us to dinner, poor child she wants so much to go with us, but she thinks her baby,s whooping better have, after our dinner Mr Lufkin? has his unclear ready and all the boarders came out to see us off. Mr Westcott & Mrs? Westcott, Mr unclear & Mrs? White, also unclear. we left after saying good Bye to all at three O clock, and travelled until six O clock when we reached Boston and took a stage Coach to the Bevers House. there we had a good supper, and went to our room and washed then at nine O clock took the train for Lusatoga?, and travelled all night safe and sound, our party consisted of Mr Angell Mifs? Mattie Faulds & James Faulds. Tom Shrene Ada, Hunt & myself, all at the Cape felt sorry to part with us. my poor daughter, Mr Harry? I have to leave behind, as she thought it best to remain with her sick children a little longer. Tuesday July 27, 1875 This morning at six O clock we reached Albany, there we took breakfast at the Depot, then took Cars to Lusatoga? and reached there at nine O clock found at the defect Mr Faulds Mr Shrene, Mattie Belle & Adele, they took us up to their Cottage in a Carriage, and found Virginia there all bright and well, and nicely fixed, and they hace fixed rooms for us all in the same house, and Mr Angell has a nice room in a house two doors from us, and we all eat at the Cottage kept by Mr Le Suk? I wrote to Belle to day. all of us well. Wednesday July 28th 1875 It rained last night, but this morning is all sunshine Hunt spent a bad night, he ate ginger cake for supper and it gave him pain, and he vomited and had his bowels disturbed but this morning he is all right again. Mr Angell took breakfast with us and he and all the family have gone to the springs Mr unclear had called to see Virginia and Jum to day.
