Hartwick Feb 12 1806

I now take this opportunity to write to you to inform you that we are all well and quite contented I like things quite as well as I expected I should we live all together yet but V? has got her things to keep hous with perty much and then we shall live seperate when she has I think we fell more contented at present to live all in one house than we should to live a lone I have got a set of chairs a table and cradle made ready to fech home and several things we have got home I believe that we shall make out very well about getting things that we want to keep house with there is work enough in the shop and in the sawmill at present. I have not got any flax to spin yet and I don't now as I shall haver verry much it is quite skarce here this year I left nor lost nothing on the road up here only one clout I see there is missing Henry is a verry good boy I think he is quite as good as he used to be he will set in the half bushel quite smart Fanny is verry good to play to him she talks a great deal about her little brother Hezek unknown she is going down to grandpapas se him next week tell E that Mr Hayden was verry glad of his brushes & he says he will pay him well as quick as he can get an thing for him
