John Ridge was elected one of the delegation Washington, and returned with the rest in the spring of 1832, to present his report of an extra session of the Council. John Ridge was nowstrenuous for the seat of government to be removed to New Echota; although he had no voice, no power, in the affair; but his father, who was one of the Executive Council, agreed with the son, [noturiltstanding].
