Norwich Oct 12th 1779 Dear Sir I ? your favour of the 25th Ultimate & Note the Contents I sent you the Inv o? of Clothing & from the Towns of Brighton & Groton with the Clothing - & ...? of the Clothing from Norwich forwarded by ? Perkins L 4724 - Beside? Packing Cask & c - I should have sent it Before but the Committee Cannot make it out ? they had made up the Whole of the Cloth Thousand? in the Rest? of the Clothing from this Town they Intend to Deliver by the 2d Inst it is Probable there will be a Surplus of shirts - if it should be the Car..? shou & be glad to know if you will enable me to Buy them - I wrote you the 28th Sept. that I had engaged 4 doz Cartons ? 3 da Beaven? & a.. 1000 ? & Dfird Know if you w..? have me Buy more & Cant help me to pay for them? but have not had the pleasure of your Answer - I shall have a little more money to pay for the Hath?
