Washington Feb. 24 1849 Dear Mr. Chandler having concluded to go to California soon, I wish youth send me BLANK immediately the sum of three hundred dollars in bills or a draft on some Massachusetts BLANK Greenfield. I think as good BLANK and charge the sum to me and on the note which I now hold against you also I am willing BLANK by transferring the sum or sending the BLANK to the city
