Saturday July 26 --

We all well to day -- weather very season? -- at 3 Oclock we Mrs? Faulds myself Belle Eva & Ada all went with Mrs Browns party to Hansse? Hansen? Park 8 miles on the railroad -- we enjoyed it very much -- but Ada took sick and had fever all night

Sunday July 27 1862

It is very warm to day -- we all well -- Ada much better -- Sister Virginia and husband Belle Eva & Jamie all went to Trinity Church -- I wrote to day to Pa -- Mr Maxwell & Father Badger came to see me --

Monday July 28th 1862

Ada very sick all night with fever -- and is so to day -- Mrs Fleetwood and daughter came to see me -- This is the birthday of Mattie Faulds -- she is 11 years --

Teusday July 24

Ada better this morning -- Eva was very sick all last night with pain in her back -- is sick in bed to day -- at five O. clock Mr Shreve Mr Faulds Mr Badger and myself all went to the Tremont Hotel to dine with Mr Drake -- had a very fine dinner -- Sisters went riding  Mrs Hilton called to see us all -- Belle had her little Sewing Society to meet here this afternoon -- Mr Wetherbe called to see us -- to night -- children have high fever again to night --

Wednesday July 30th

Our Weather is still warm -- Eva very sick with fever -- Ada better from her fever -- Mr Badger brought us home some fine Peaches -- Dancing school met here -- Sisters very pleased with our class -- at five we had a Carriage and went riding -- John & James Speed came to say Good Bye to us they go to night to Louisvilled to join the army -- Mr Bigelow cam to see us --
