    Lord Charles Montagues Epitaph on

his wife - - - - - -

When [sorrow?] weeps o'er [illeg.] sacred dust [illeg] tears become us, and our grief is [illeg.] Such are the tears he shed who grateful pays his last sad tribute of his love and praise Who mourns the best of wives & friends combined When female [softness?] met the manly mind Mourns but not murmurs, sighs but does not despair Feels as a man and as a Christian [fears?]
