No. 2 Dr. Schulin, Oculist Fort Custer, Mont., June 16th - 1895 This is to certify that Dr W.C. Shannon has the following affection of his right eye. There is a hemorrhage in the retina, right below the yellow spot, around one of the branches? of the Vena centralis retinae. The hemorrhage is of bright red color, apparently fresh. There are besides a few slight opacities floating around in the Vitreous. For at least three weeks he should not use his eyes. He ought to be in a recumbent position in a dark room.
