Chesnitler 'thank you Sir' (for me) and tell him all is right in regard to what he alludes - I will answer the western letter soon and tell a fair story as possible -- I am well as usual - fell quite smart -- have been generally well -- I have staid longer than I expected where I am - dont expect to remain there this winter - shall know soon though - nor his going to New York in a few days
