                                 Nothing but the

hurry and complete occupation of Com mencement week could have kept me from writing and acknowledging those beautiful forgetmenots the day I re- ceived them. They came Wednesday morning, just the right time, and I put them down cellar in water im- mediately and they revived and be- came as sweet and fresh as could be desired. I showed them to the lady at the greenhouse and she said they were entirely different from any she ever saw. They were admired by all who saw them and I am most obliged
