Marlboro March 25 1871 Sunday Evening: Dear sister Abby: I write just a word to tell you we're nearly packed and ready for Granby Conn- our goods go to the depot tomorrow we start Thursday morning We are well as usual except the Children have cold. I've had a "thousand" to do get ready and am not half ready as it is, but I s'pose we shall get along somehow.
