3d Chandler was pleased with his invitation to visit you and would enjoy it of course but you forgot it was right in the middle of his haying season when escaping, would be almost an impossibility - He has a great stout Irishman to help him and John Tyler. Uncle David does some - he can't do much of course - It has been capital weather for haying - but dreadfully hot - we hav'nt had any rain for four weeks. Not a Thuder storm this year - except a slight one on unclear
