 saw this call in N.Y. "ViLLage Voice" - Reminds

me of old days - MaLcolm Cowley - you - Hicks, Gold Isidore Schneider, Joe Freeman, et al - Today - NAT HENTOFF & Barbara Garson come close to the old gang - Terkel keeps going strong from our generation - 

 Mortel is not doing too well - I personally visited him last month

His wife & young son are very supportive - He had a stroke - has Parkinsons- & is in a wheel chair - His mind & speech are clear - memory good - he does a lot of writing & reading. 

 Like Ole Man RIVer - Henderson keeps
