March 9, 1980 Dear Jack:

     Its been a while since we have last written to each other, but I have a special reason for writing, which I will go into shortly.  But first, tell me about how your health is, and that of your wife.  My health isn't bad, really, for a 68-year-old.
     Last night, my wife and I went to the Apollo Theatre on Lincoln Ave., to see the "Banjo Dancer."  This is a one-man performance, where Stephen Wade plays the Banjo very expertly, and also relates stories and anecdotes in a real folksy manner.
