I;m sorry and ashamed at my delay -- First I was so sure we would stop by some day and later we expected to be at the invitation of the Common's family. At the last hour Dr. Gron was called on a new baby case so -- Thru Forty Years is delightfully and sincerely written. Every time I pick it up I can almost hear Dr. Taylor's voice. I've found it a valuable history of Chicago life as well as the activities of the settlement work. I'm so glad to have it for my own.
