postcard stamp 4p stamp BY AIR MAIL Par Avion postmark LONDON 25 OCT 1971

London, Oct 25, '71 Dear Jack: |_ South of Thames

Visiting Guy's Hospital and St. Thomas on the so. side of Thames - Southwick,

pron. "Suth-erk" near where C. Chaplin lived as a boy. Saw so much of lovely Sussex yesterday, passing R. Kipling's old estate, no longer in family hands, as it's too much in public view.

Moran's Hotel Dublin much the same - in an 18th Century rut - hopeless.

Returning Nov. 4, Regards - MEAD
