 Just now received a telegram from Harry Sheridan giving me information that Jimmy Sheridan had been

moved from the hospital to -

 Royal Oaks Convalescent Center,
 625 North Harlem Ave.
 Oak Park, Illinois.

So his condition must not be too critical

 For a long time I'd been saying that Bob Hope was the unfunniest comedian, and then I heard you use

the exact phrase at 708 N. Clark, when I first met you, though I'd heard of you via Diggles several times, and in fact, think I once' phoned you - acting on Diggles' suggestion - when I was still anxious to attend some sort of cram course in writing. Cram, because I had so little time, due to commuting from Englewood to Gary, where I worked on the E.J.& E., captive road of U.S. Steel; 12 hours a day with only an occasional day off, No 5-day schedule then.

 In his book The Big Fellow, Frank O'Connor did some British ass-kicking by saying Michael Collins liked W. Churchill. Impossible, as

the harsh conditions under which the treaty was signed were partly W.C.'s work.
