My dear Madam/ I am very much obliged to you but Henry Ruxton was kind enough to send me Messrs Blackwoods highly flattering tribute; the Nautical Magazine I shall have tomorrow according to my bookseller & the Oregon pamphlet I have long had by me -- His birth & parentage I have just got from Henry Ruxton.
