If you did not receive the letter perhaps it was not written -- only contemplated. We were quite disappointed in not seeing father and mother here to attend the meeting. Hope they will not give up coming to see us. We had no meeting at our church last Sabbath. Rev. Mr. Williams & wife have gone to visit her parents in Michigan and our church is undergoing repairs, papering and painting in the absence of Mr. Wms.

We have added one of the Singer Sewing Machines to our household comforts and conveniences. Mate likes it very much. It is a great deal of company for her besides being a great help.
