gay tropical flowers - I saw nothing in ? with a green yard. Then the Scorpions & Lizards running about, in & over the tombs pushing themselves up so unconcernedly; the myriads of Mosquitos buzzing about & now & then pretty birds flying about. The Stately Coco-nut & Plantans to be seen at every stop, in the distance Sugar Plantations, & all over the island covered with a dense tropical vegetation. 

   There are two or three good Hotels in the Town, the charge about 2 to 2½  dollars for dinner.
