How many times is reading interrupted? And will I be able to write you peacefully tonight? Minna is so restless that I don't guarantee it. Bianca is busy, Paolo has little will to take care of the swimming pool. And Minna takes refuge from Uncle Mimmo. One little hat for the doll, one handkerchief to put it to sleep, one cane to make "the band."  How many other things I must not know to provide? I read and the small bully wanted to see the  "the bure"; I write and she wants "to read the postcard!" In reality, I'm not as tender when Minna does bad things or things that she shouldn't. I shout;  I pout at her and she understands very well that this is not a joking matter. But  when she is good, I make her the world of moine, I go down the condescension even heroic.
