To all to whom these presents may come, or in anyones concern, Hereas the American Fur Company did by a certain Indenhene hearing date the Tenth day of September in the year of our Lord onethousand and eight hundred & forty two, grant, bargain, sell, assign, transfer, set over, aliene, remise, release, convey, & confirm unto George Ehninger of the City of New York his legal successors or representatives and assigns, all and singular the real and personal Estate, property and effects whatsoever & wheresoever, belonging to the said Company and all debts dues demands and claims whatsoever, belonging to or payable to the said Company, to have, hold, take and revieve the same, subject to contain trusts, and to and for Certain uses, intents and purposes in the said Indenture mentioned the object of the said Indenture and of the trusts therein contained, being to secure and pay all debts whatsoever due by the said Company, equally & without preference to anyone, or more of the Creditors of the said Company over the others; and to have all the property of the said Company, or so much thereof as may be necessary, applied for that purpose, and whereas the said American Fur Company did also in and by the said Indenture, make constitute on the appoint the said George Ehninger his legal successors or representatives and assigns, the true and lawful attorney and Attornies of the said Company, with full power and authority to do, transact and perform all matters and things in or about the premises so conveyed and assigned as fully and effectually as could or might be done by the said American Fur Company, and power to appoint and substitute an attorny or Attornies under him, or them, or either of them, and again as pleasure to revoke the same, and another or others to appoint, as by reference to the said Indenture now in the possession of the said George Ehninger, will more fully and at large appear.
