Elyria July 15 1899 Dear Mother I should like to see you very much We have got our bureau it has got [?] a little drawers and three big drawers it cost fifteen dollers (sic) it is made of curly mapple (sic) I caught a rabbit he did eat chickweed like everything But one day I was holding him in my hand and he got away from me. We sold a boushel (sic) of peas to Mister Williams. And morning I carried a basket full of peas to uncle Eliab and one basket of peas to uncle Doctor. Wilder and I have helped Father's haying.
