Elyria June 18, 1884 My Annie dear, Thank you I am better to day. I hope better than I have been for two weeks. I am weak. I said in bed yesterday but am dressed to day and lying on the bed. I was better in part yesterday than Monday but the Dr thought it best for me to keep still and I felt very much like it. Sarah is afraid you thought she was impolite MOnday when she appeared at the parlor door. She did not know Mr. Root was here and she was looking for you. She was quite troubled
